We are now listing events in our blog. Here is information about our events in general:
Monthly Munch
7:30pm on the first Tuesday of every month, except the occasional January munch is skipped if it falls on 1st or 2nd Jan. The NEW venue is S&Ms (Scotty & Mals) Bar at 176 Cuba Street, Te Aro.
The venue has both an upstairs (i.e. street level) and downstairs bar. If the downstairs bar is open, which we understand is probably not common on a Tuesday, we could be down there. Otherwise we are obviously going to be in the street level bar! Look for a diverse group of people, usually with two balloons (any colour) on one of our tables. By 7:30pm there are usually at least a few people there already.
All are welcome to attend subject to being 18 years or older. Dress code is everyday street wear, as it is an informal meeting at a public venue. As such there should be no open display of BDSM activity so no obvious attention is drawn to ourselves.
Discussion Nights
Discussion nights currently on hold pending enough demand to re-start them. Attendance is open to those who have attended at least one TES munch. Cost: Usually $5 per head. Location: Usually a hired space at a community facility. Exact location is never published here; if a discussion night is scheduled please come to a munch beforehand and ask, or drop us an email identifying yourself.
Play Parties
There are
currently no specific plans for when the next TES party will be. Timings and cost would be
announced on confirmation of any party. In the meantime the Hutt Valley based Riverbound
group run parties from time to time, and TES members may hold private parties. Email us with any enquries.
